ABSOLUTELY no one is permitted in the building prior to this time; except show volunteer. All equipment and dogs must be removed from the building within 2 hours after the show has ended on Sunday.

 From the East: Route 60 West to Butterfield Road. Turn right on Butterfield Road, follow to Allanson Road. (Allanson goes to the left, Gregs Parkway goes to the right) Turn left on Allanson Road, cross the railroad tracks. The first street on your left will be Tower Road. Turn left.

From the East: Route 176 West to Butterfield Road. Turn left on Butterfield Road, follow to Allanson Road. Turn right on Allanson and cross the railroad tracks to the first street on your left which will be Tower Road.

** Follow directions for Tower Road.

 

From the West: Route 176 East to Route 45. Turn right on Route 45 and follow to Allanson Road. Turn left on Allanson Road (only way to go). Follow Allanson Road for ½ mile to Tower Road. Turn right on Tower.

From the South: Butterfield Road to Allanson Road. Turn right on Allanson Road, cross the railroad tracks to first street on your left, Tower Road.

From the North: Route 45 South to Allanson Road. Turn left on Allanson Road, follow ½ mile to Tower Road.

**Follow directions for Tower Road.

 

**Follow Tower Road, curve to the left, and follow to the first street on your right. This will be Turret Court. We are the building on your right as you make the turn onto Turret Court.

 

Entries

 

All entries must be complete and on current ASCA® forms.  Copies of forms must include the
release with signature on the back.  The parent of legal guardian of any Junior under the age of 18 must sign the back of the entry form.  Current entry forms can be found at http://www.asca.org/Forms+and+Rule+Books  

Copies of registration papers must be presented to Show Secretary upon request for any Australian Shepherd 6 months old and over.  All other entries must provide proof of registration or recognized club membership.

 

Entry Fees:

The correct amount must accompany the entry form.  Any checks returned for insufficient funds will result in a fee payable in the amount of $45.00 and the entry will be considered void. MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO “OTB-ASF”. Pre-Entries must be postmarked no later than February 4, 2007, and mailed to:

Notice to Exhibitors

 

1.        1st through 4th place winners are awarded flat ribbons.  Additional prizes are provided to Best Junior Handler, Reserve Junior Handler, Best (non-regular) Puppy, Best Opposite Sex (non-regular) Puppy and, for altered and intact… Best of Breed, Best Opposite Sex, Best of Winners, Winners Dog, Winners Bitch, Reserve Winners Dog, Reserve Winners Bitch.

2.        Entries will be accepted on official ASCA® entry forms only.  Copies may be made
 if signed statement is on the back.  No other forms will be accepted.  All entries must be signed on the back.  Entry forms can be found at http://www.asca.org/Forms+and+Rule+Books.

3.        No entry fees will be refunded after entries have closed.  No change of class will be accepted after entry has been made.  Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry.  There is a $45 service charge for returned checks.

4.        Entry fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by the Show Committee.  Entry fees will not be refunded if the show cannot be open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, act of God, public emergency strikes, or any other cause beyond the control of the On the Border Australian Shepherd Fanciers, Inc.

5.        “Chalking” is not allowed.  Use of blow dryers is not allowed.

6.        Dogs may not be left on grooming tables unattended.  If it occurs, the exhibitor will be given one warning.  A second occurrence will result in the exhibitor being asked to leave for the duration of the weekend with no refund of entry fee(s).

7.        Exhibitors, through submission of their entry(ies), acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of ASCA® rules and regulations.  No entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance.

8.        Crates and equipment may be left in the building but, all dogs must be removed.  Personal belongings are left at your own risk.  The building is locked at night.

9.        As a courtesy to fellow exhibitors, please turn off or silence the ringer on your cell phone or pager at ringside.

10.     PLEASE USE DESIGNATED EXERCISE AREAS.  EXHIBITORS MUST CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOGS.  IF AN EXHIBITOR IS OBSERVED VIOLATING THIS POLICY AT THE SHOWGROUNDS OR HOTELS, THEY WILL BE REMOVED FROM OUR MAILING LIST AND NOT ALLOWED TO RETURN TO FUTURE SHOWS.

11.     No puppies less than 8 weeks of age are allowed at the show site.

12.     Children under the age of 17 years old must be supervised by a parent or adult guardian.

13.     Any handler, owner, or spectator using excessive corrections or abuse towards a dog or exhibiting poor sportsmanship while at the show site will be asked to leave for the duration of the show weekend with no refund of entry fee(s).
